The 12 Guided Sessions - one for each week of your membership - are the heart of MASTERINGFood. Through a series of interactive questions they will help you examine, analyze, and deconstruct your emotional eating patterns. The methods behind the Guided Sessions are based on over 20 years of research and have been studied by UCLA and Kaiser Permanente, the largest non-profit health-care organization in the country.

Each Guided Session deals with a new and important aspect of emotional eating. And each new Guided Session builds on the work of earlier sessions. So, as you move forward in the program you will be uncovering deeper levels of emotional eating -- and, of course, be developing deeper and more effective ways to handle emotional eating.
The Guided Sessions start by examining your emotional eating patterns and by helping you develop practical, short-term solutions to get you on the right path. Then, they move on to uncover the source of your emotional eating patterns and help you deal with the root of the problem. And then, during the last 4 weeks of the program, the Guided Sessions help you end the battle with food by examining all the reasons you have for staying overweight.
Each Guided Session is reinforced by a Weekly Workbook that helps you integrate the material you covered, and a Habit Diary that keeps you focused on your daily habits.
